We’ll meet in the parking lot at our church at 3pm on Friday, August 10 to leave. We’ll be back around 3pm on Sunday, August 12. What To Bring Sleeping bag/pillow Pad or air mattress for sleeping on the floor Play clothes for helping at VBS and shoes to lead recreation in (please dress modestly and leave inappropriate logos at home) Paint clothes and shoes (not flip flops — we’ll be doing some yard work stuff too!) Swim suit and towel/sunscreen and bug spray Toiletries (toothpaste, brush, etc) Water Bottle What to leave at home: Fireworks,matches,or lighters Knives or other things that can be thought of as weapons Drugs, other illegal substances What about Electronics? You are welcome to bring your cell phones, game boys, walkmen, etc, for the van ride, but will be asked to turn them in once we arrive. You will have access to your cell phone to call home only at appropriate times during the trip. Text Box: Join us for an In-state Trip 2007 Text Box: Why Hysham? We are part of the same Presbytery and have great bonds with them through our church cluster group, plus they really want us to come and help! Who Can Come? Next year’s 7th graders through those who just graduated from high school are invited to sign up to come along. We really need a good mix of folks, so think seriously about joining us! Schedule: Each day we’ll have time to work, eat, study and play. During our time in Hysham, we’ll work with church members to throw a VBS that the whole community will be talking about and more projects throughout town. We’ll also have the opportunity to explore the area and meet folks from the community. The group will study and worship together each evening. We’ll stay at the Presbyterian Church in Hysham . It should be a ton of fun! How Much? $30 covers everything for this really great trip. All your food, fun and travel are included.
