PASTORAL COUNSELING & SUPPORT

At First Presbyterian Church we want to make sure we lift one another in prayer & love during difficult times.  Our groups are non-denominational and faith based. All are welcome.   The groups are facilitated by Teresa Kennedy and other support staff.  We offer the following care and support teams for you:

SUPPORT & EDUCATION GROUPS:

1.  Grief Support & Education for Adults
     Thursdays 4:00 pm in the Pastoral Care Office #113

2.  Alzheimer/Dementia Support & Education for Caregiver’s
     Every 4^th Wednesday of the month at 1:00 pm -Pastoral Care Office #113

3.  Military Member Support size is limited and offered at various times.

Teresa Kennedy, GC-C, CT, LCPC, Pastoral Care Associate, is the Director of Congregation Care and Older Adult Ministry. Teresa holds certification in Thanatology from the Association for Death Education and Counseling, is a Certified Grief Counselor from the American Academy of Grief Counseling, and is a Board certified Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.   A graduate from MSU-Billings, Teresa has a BS in Psychology and a MS in Mental Health Rehabilitation and Counseling. She is also a trained Stephen Minister and Stephen Leader.  She is available to the congregation for Pastoral Counseling.
